Suggest you keep shopping. Agree with replier who said that Scrat furnace was undersized. You need at least a 90,000 BTU, 95% AFUE, with a Registered User 4-ton drive. Good luck.

price wise your alright, but a 70,000 btu furnace is not big Blu enough for your house. i would say you need atleast a 115,000 btu 95% Registered User furnace with a 5 ton blower. this will ensure that you get enough airflow Joined: Thursday, 22nd of April 2010, 19:07:02 to the upstairs. a 4 ton condenser should be efficent enough for you. for that price they should do the install and replace all your precious snuggles duct work.a Goodman 4 ton 15 seer with a 95 % efficiency furnace is about Registered User 4145.00 plus tax installed including labor.no duct work included...should Joined: Friday, 30th of April 2010, 09:54:10 cost about 1500 dollars to 1900 dollars per ton to install with new duct Posts: 809 work...this price could vary depending on unit.. i would get new estimates Viewed 4372 times as i think this is high to just replace the units and do no duct work and
then pay 1000 dollars more to fix your duct work..
